*Bom Dia*

I unabashedly utter these words: Greetings Internet World*

My resolve to create a blog which creates a bond between my impulsive thoughts, my critical thoughts, and the reactions of my peers has come to fruition. Prior to this moment, I identified blog writing as somewhat narcissistic. In actuality, blogging is narcissism's polar opposite. People blog for various reasons and often times it is with good intent. This varies from one's desire to provide information to the public, amass his/her varying thoughts to insight reflection, find a common thread that bonds his/her thoughts with others, or add new dimension to a particular subject or idea. Don't get me wrong, there are those who seek validation via the blogging medium, but I've come to see those are few and far in between. So, I emerge as the college-educated young woman who is prepared to offer the blogosphere a piece of my mind. I welcome you.*

  1. welcome! I actually had this convo with someone via twitter yesterday. She asked why does everyone and their mother have a blog. My response was "why not?" To me, it's simply an extention of journaling for most. Yes, there are people who use it to be something that they are not. However, there are many like myself who use it as way to capture thoughts... kind of like talking to yourself outloud for the world to hear. My fam and friends are the main audience, but if others want to read then that's great too!

Anywho, glad to see that you've started blogging. :) I'm starting to read from the first to the most recent... will comment sporadically along the way.
